“A personal account of our exodus from a high-control, autocratic religious group (sometimes called a cult). I describe how normal people can be slowly ensnared by such groups and how their life choices & identity are controlled by its rules & culture. I look at why people remain enslaved, and how they behave towards those who walk away. For me, the end has been good - I am free, happy…and perhaps more cautious. Finally, I look at what I learned during the exodus, and how others might use it to ease their way out, if they choose.”
