We had such an amazing 5 weeks driving from Darwin down to home, lots of you asked if i’d be happy to share our route, and of course i’m more than happy to do so! It’s not fancy and I have no doubt i’ve forgotten loads of things, but here its here if you’d like to download it. You’re most welcome! I was going to add pictures, travel times etc but, y’know… time poor! It’s simply a list of the stops we made, where we stayed and some of the places/activities we visited. Basic but hopefully helpful in some small way! If you’re planning a trip, I hope you have as amazing a time as we did, exploring this amazing country of hours. Honestly, we loved it even more than we could ever have imagined. If i’ve forgotten anything or you can recommend some gems for me to add, please shout and i’ll do so! It wasn’t quite what we initially planned, but we flew up to Darwin from Melbourne and took 4 weeks to do Darwin to Coober Pedy (and a week extra to get home). We stayed/travelled in a 6 berth motor home and it was SO MUCH FUN. Highly recommend them too ;-) Enjoy guys!
