MR + MRS JANSEN AT HOME - celebrating 50 beautiful years together.

He was her deb partner when she was just 16 years old. Now, 8 children, 19 grandchildren, and 50 YEARS OF MARRIAGE later, Helen and Bill are still sharing a giggle, adoring each other and in my opinion, deserving of a round of applause (standing ovation?).

I had the absolute pleasure of visiting the Jansens in their home a few months ago. Their family thought it would be a lovely idea to organise some photos of the two of them to celebrate such a significant & amazing achievement. I thought it was a beautiful idea and am SO happy that I had the opportunity to meet these two wonderful people. On top of that incredible backstory, Helen is caring for Bill through his battle with Parkinsons. It was pretty special to witness the bond of this team in action.

Isn't this a wonderful way to celebrate an amazing partnership and create memories for their big beautiful family to treasure forever? Love their family for being so thoughtful. Congratulations Helen & Bill, happy 50th anniversary (almost 51st?!)! I think you're pretty amazing. Here's to more happy years together. xx
